About Me

Welcome to my Writers Area

Writing has been a passion of mine from my early days when I was in elementary school and wrote a Lovecraft inspired short story. It received an A- from the teacher. The minus was because in one section I wrote "the room was torn apart as though a cyclone had hit it" and my teachers comment was "if a cyclone had hit the building, the walls would not still be standing." Despite the critics I persevered and fortunately I have progressed some since those early days but I never lost my enjoyment of good stories or my desire to create my own.

The menu on the side will bring up sub-pages with more detailed information about my current offerings as well as some selected historical ones.

Current works:

Tales of Dungheap Fortress - a full length fantasy novel featuring a fortress with a 'unique' problem.

Sparkling Death - a full length science-fiction space-opera novel detailing the star-traveling adventures of a team of intergalactic troubleshooters. Now available as a free downloadable audio podcast from www.podiobooks.com

The King and the Sword - a full length science-fiction space-opera novel. The sequel to Sparkling Death.

Death Grip on the Handlebars - a non-fiction travel account of my solo motorcycle journey across the United States. Excerpt included.

Older Works

The Hole - a Halloween-themed short story web-experiment that uses a browser to enhance the mood.

The Haunt - a short story about a real haunted house, winner of a Halloween competition.

XCOM (The First Months) - an old fan-fiction short story from my college years. From the world of the computer game XCOM.
